"This is Reforged edition. We're considering the entire campaign as well as The Culling in particular," Brian Sousa, Art Lead on Classic Games at Blizzard told P2Pah. "We completely revamped the map's layout to make it appear as Stratholme in World of Warcraft because people have been to Stratholme and recognize the entranceway to Stratholme The original map didn't have the aforementioned. It had a completely different experience altogether. It was a place with Greek columns and bizarre statues, an aqueduct, and a Zoo, and other things that could be a mystery to people if they came in World of Warcraft playing this game.

"That is one thing. We're like, "Well it should appear like Stratholme and so it got a complete overhaul in line with this. As we progress through the course of the game, there's going become more occasions when we'll pull from World of Warcraft for influence due to the lore, they've established the foundations for all of the characters, all of these places, and they've incorporated many back stories into everything. We have a massive library of material to draw from."

The Reforged edition comes with animated characters and characters that have been remodeled and maps that have been remastered, as well as an upgraded user interface, and support for 4K.
