Finding a reliable charity organization is tougher than it should be. Too many overhead costs in the big names. I think the future is in networks that link resources directly to needs without the middleman. That’s why I find the model behind Bless Unity interesting for social projects in Europe. They seem to prioritize mutual respect and actually listening to what the locals need before acting. It’s a refreshing change from the top-down approach where they just dump supplies nobody asked for.
