Michela Smith graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with degrees in health, physical education, exercise science, and psychology. Growing up as a competitive dancer, Michela knows how important it is to stay healthy so that she can continue to do what she loves.
With that in mind, she has dedicated her life to helping others achieve optimal health. She has internship experience under occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and nurses helping stroke survivors heal and improve their quality of life. She has also interned with medical gymnastics practitioners using exercise and nutrition as medicine for patients with chronic diseases.
Now, you'll see Michela helping patients in and out of traction, assisting patients with electrical board exercises, and completing various tasks throughout the office. In her spare time, Michela enjoys reading, sitting by the water's edge and adventuring to new places. She also loves fashion and spends time with the people she cares about.
