In the country of India internet connections that are obtained through wireless or unsecured means are considered to be safe, and therefore it is illegal to access the web using such methods. The government of India has been repeatedly making threats against various websites including the famous Facebook, Yahoo! and Gmail, threatening to block access to these services if they were to continue to exist. It is clear from this that the use of such services to get hold of information about another person is illegal, but why is it that many people still access websites using these methods?
