Scottish Fold Ears – Safe?

Hi all, I’ve been seeing so many Scottish Fold kittens online and I’m smitten. But I heard some people say their folded ears can be linked to health problems. Is that true? Should I be worried about that when choosing a breed?

Great question—and one I asked myself before getting my own Scottish Straight. The fold in their ears can sometimes be tied to cartilage issues, but Scottish Straights don’t have the fold and are generally healthier in that regard. I ended up finding mine through KittensUp4Sale when I looked into Scottish straight kittens for sale , and I’ve had no regrets. He’s playful, sweet, and totally fine health-wise. Just make sure you’re buying from a responsible breeder who screens for these things.
