In academics, the term research collaboration refers to the equal participation of two or more academic faculty members or students in research. Working collaboratively on a group dissertation benefits all participants in one or another way. In the workplace, it benefits an organisation by solving complex problems, improving knowledge and skills, and sharing diverse perspectives which is difficult to achieve in working independently.
