PM Krishi Udan Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Krishi Udan Yojana is a government initiative that was launched in 2016. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to farmers in order to help them purchase agricultural equipment and machinery. Under the scheme, farmers can receive up to 50% subsidy on the purchase of equipment. The subsidy is capped at Rs. 2 lakhs per farmer. So far, the scheme has been a success, with over 1 lakh farmers benefitting from it.
