Bongo BD's backstory is one of the most fascinating of all streaming sites. The startup was not founded in the traditional manner. An entrepreneur decided to create a streaming service and found investors before launching it. Bongo BD was born out of unexpected and uncontrollable growth in another channel.
Bongo BD was the first YouTube channel. Navidul Huq and Ahad Mohammad started their YouTube channel in 2013, offering original content that ranges from web series, product reviews, and commentary on current events. Instantly, the channel surpassed 2 million views. It was awarded the Golden Play Button award by YouTube and an ICT National prize.
