Having never entered a concours event previously this was a first for Ray Petty Meccanica. Winning the Best in Class with the stunning 1974 Duacti 750SS, following a 6 month restoration which included a top end rebuild and sourcing some of the hardest to locate parts imaginable, finished off with over 100 hours of detailing. With the Concours d’Elegance judges commenting on the originality of the motorcycle. Ray Petty commented… “To say we’re delighted would be an understatement, I grew up with these motorcycles so I know exactly how they should look. For the judges to comment on those small details makes me and my team incredibly proud to be able to present such a fantastic machine”.
