Titan is Saturn's largest moon and the Solar System's second-largest natural satellite. It is the only known moon with a dense atmosphere, and the only known object in space other than Earth with clear evidence of stable bodies of surface liquid. Titan is one of seven gravitationally rounded moons orbiting Saturn, and it is the second most distant from Saturn. Titan is frequently described as a planet-like moon because it is 50% larger (in diameter) and 80% more massive than Earth's Moon. It is the second-largest moon in the Solar System after Jupiter's moon Ganymede, and it is larger than the planet Mercury but only 40% as massive.
