There are two major seasons for trekking in Nepal: Spring and Autumn. October-November and March-May are recognized as having the best weather for trekking and are when most tourists travel to Nepal. December and January are the coldest months for trekking in Nepal Himalayas but with well-prepared equipment, trekking can be a great experience with clear skies and mountains. There are fewer tourists on the way during this time, less snow, and the mountains are dry. June-August is the rainy season in Nepal. The traditional trekking season in Nepal is Sep-May. March and April are recommended months for viewing the Nepal national Rhododendron flowers in bloom. During the monsoon season, it’s a good time to visit Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Lumbini.
