Hand And Wrist Surgery

Scaphoid fracture: Typically presents with pain in the anatomical snuffbox. It’s a fracture of emergency as there are chances avascular necrosis of scaphoid. If undisplaced can be treated by plaster cast immobilisation. If it’s a displaced fracture may need Herbert’s screw fixation.
